In the previous post, we introduced several types of roofs that are made of different materials. We categorized these roofs into three main types according to their material: tile roofs, metal roofs and concrete roofs.
We recommend roof mounting systems for each type of roof.
First of all, we would like to introduce our tile roof mounting system. Due to the fragile and uneven appearance of the tiles, our L- feet cannot be nailed directly to the tiles, so we have chosen to use solar hooks as support for the rails. Next, we're going to cover metal roofs. In fact, metal roofs often refer to our tin roofs. Sometimes we also refer to a tin roof as a colored steel tile roof.
Because of the toughness of a tin roof, fixings or bolts can be nailed directly to the tin roof.
The cresting of a tin roof varies in shape, so our fixings are more flexible.
When the crest is trapezoidal, we can choose L-shaped fixings to secure and support the rail, or we can choose to fix the short rail directly to the tin roof. If the trapezoidal crest has a small cross-section and does not fit into the base of the L-fixing, the L-fixing can be made taller by using hanger bolts.
